Founder, Pinecrest Capital Research
Dan Baran is the Founder of Pinecrest Capital Research and has nearly a decade of experience in sustainable and impact investing. Dan founded Pinecrest to bring institutional-quality investment research and due diligence directly to investment teams through a more customizeable, hands-on model that eliminates expensive intermediaries.
Prior to founding Pinecrest, Dan spent seven years with Cambridge Associates on its Sustainable & Impact Investing team, where he led due diligence and investment research across private markets. Since leaving Cambridge Associates, he has worked independently with impact investment firms, family offices, and investment advisors.
